The material of the pressure measurement devices used must withstand tough conditions in water/wastewater applications. KROHNE offers versions in stainless steel for every device, from ultra-compact to process class for corrosive applications. Ceramic measuring cells additionally offer numerous benefits. Ceramic is ten times harder than stainless steel, for example. Abrasion, shocks, cavitation and water hammering does the sensor no harm. As no oil is used, drinking water safety is also guaranteed here.
